The Swedish Forestry Model is a story from the TV-series “Environmental Atlas of Europe” about a sustainable forestry model used in Sweden which also increases CO2 absorption, to such an extent that Sweden in the near future can absorb double the amount of CO2 to what they do today.
The Environmental Atlas of Europe is a UNEP-EEA-ESA joint project showcasing communities responding to environmental change across Europe. The films present a series of inspirational stories on how people are responding to climate change and in so doing, transforming their lives for a more sustainable future.
