High And Low Waters is a story from the TV-series called “Environmental Atlas of Europe” from Russia about the extreme fluctuations in water level along the Volga river and around the city of Nizhny Novgorod. High and low water levels influence the city and surroundings in various degrees.
The Environmental Atlas of Europe is a UNEP-EEA-ESA joint project showcasing communities responding to environmental change across Europe. The films present a series of inspirational stories on how people are responding to climate change and in so doing, transforming their lives for a more sustainable future.
