Kangerlussuaq (Sønder Strømfjord) is the main airport in Greenland, and it is home to Greenland’s only road to the Ice Cap where it’s possible to see herds of Arctic animals such as the Musk Oxe. With the mouth of the fjord sitting on the far western horizon and the ice cap knocking at the door, all roads lead to the backcountry.
