Thisted – A Climate Friendly Municipality is a story about clean energy and clean nature. Thisted Municipality is quite a unique place in Denmark which has invested in numerous different sources of renewable energy, and today delivers over 100 percent of the electricity and over 80 percent of the heating generated using natural resources.

Hardly any fossil fuels are being used within the municipality of Thisted. They are a textbook example of local drive and initiative. This film gives the insight into their secrets and amazing results.
