Ace & Ace produced four films for Associated Press covering each day’s live events at the Roskilde Festival in Roskilde, Denmark. We furthermore produced a 52 min documentary for the festival organization, which was later released on DVD.

The Roskilde Festival is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in Northern Europe. It’s been going since 1971, and since 1972 as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism.

Top acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Manu Chao, Travis, Pet Shop Boys, Rammstein and Garbage are included. Other interesting and upcoming acts of  the broad program of the festival is played out on five different stages, including interviews with the performers. More than 180 performing bands are playing at the festival, and it is being attended by around 130,000 festival-goers, along with more than 21,000 volunteers, 5,000 media people and 3,000 artists.

The atmosphere of the festival is legendary and we meet many interesting characters – and a few oddballs.
