“Planet RE:think” film premiere in Rio!
On Sunday, the 17th of June 2012, our feature documentary “Planet RE:think”
will have its world premiere in Rio de Janeiro, where it will be the centre piece
at the United Nations Global meeting, the so-called “Rio+20”. It is the world’s
largest global summit on sustainable development and the environment.
World leaders, along with thousands of participants from governments, the
private sector and NGOs will come together in Rio to shape how we can reduce
poverty, advance social equity and ensure environmental protection on an ever
more crowded planet.
The premiere of our film “Planet RE:think” will be a red carpet event at the
cinema Cinepolis Lagoon, where we expect to have Heads of State and other
powerful decision makers from business, industry, environmental organizations
and civil society as our audience.
“Hopefully our film will encourage the world to shift in a new direction, where
the individual thinks more about the use of our resources. The way the world
works today is simply not sustainable and over time it will cause even greater
problems. However, the good news is, we can change this with relatively simple
means and with a new mindset – welcome to Planet RE:think”.
